Up until this December, Microsoft Access was only included in the Office 365 ProPlus, Enterprise 3 and Enterprise 5 Plans. Microsoft has recently announced that they will now be including Microsoft Access in Office 365 Business and Business Premium plans. This allows small and mid-size business to have access to a database management solution.
Microsoft Access is a database management solution that collects and stores data on users’ desktops. It allows users to develop business applications; and collect, analyze and track data from various sources.
Microsoft Access will be automatically installed for Office 365 Business and Business Premium subscribers during the upcoming regular Office client update which is expected to be between December 2016 and the end of January 2017.
