Microsoft 365 Business Voice
Early in 2020, Microsoft introduced a voice over IP (VoIP) phone system as an add-on to Microsoft Teams. This add-on is available with Microsoft 365 plans that include Teams. Microsoft Teams has become a critical application in use by many organizations during this pandemic, work-from-home era. That being the case, transitioning your phone system to Teams may not be much of a leap. Now you can combine calling, chatting and virtual meetings into a single application.
This is an enterprise-grade phone system. Calls are reliable and secure and are managed through Microsoft’s cloud.
You can keep your existing phone numbers or get new ones.
A single phone number can connect to your computer, mobile device or desk phone.
One click allows you to make calls from Teams, Outlook or a mobile device.
Audio Conferencing provides you with a dial-in number for all your on-line Teams meetings. Participants can call into a meeting rather than use a computer or external microphone.
The system is managed through the Office 365 admin console.
A status indicator lets others know whether you’re on a call, available or out of the office.
Auto Attendant – inbound calls are answered with a recorded message and routed to the right person or queue.
Voicemail – access voicemail messages from anywhere from any device.
Call Queues – set up music on hold, custom greetings and shared voicemail.
Contact Centre Integration – built in call centre capability.
Devices – Choose from a comprehensive range of Teams-enabled devices.
