BSC Offers New Super Easy Method to Request IT Support
For clients who have not yet heard about our new method for requesting IT Support, this will be welcomed news. It’s called our IT Support Panel and it’s free to all BSC clients for whom we provide ongoing technical support. Testing with some initial clients has resulted in great feedback.
How Does it Work?
To implement this additional tool, simply make a request to the BSC Support Team to deploy the tool on your computers. An icon, as pictured at the top of this article, will then be added to the computer desktop and toolbar of each user computer. When a user needs help, they simply click on the icon and the display below will pop up. Users can create a ticket without the need to call or send an email. The IT Support Panel includes technical details in the ticket about the requesting computer which can be helpful to our technical team. There are a number of tools we have linked to the App that our team might ask you to run in order to provide even more details.
You can view the status of open or previous closed tickets you have submitted. Managers can view all tickets for your organization.
For certain IT issues, our tool will make suggestions to the employee to try before submitting the ticket. If a suggestion fixes their problem, they can abandon the ticket and carry on with their work.
We hope this new tool provides additional convenience and improved productivity to our clients.
