Microsoft Bookings is a new Office 365 service that allows customers to schedule appointments with your business online or through the mobile app.
Introducing Microsoft Bookings: Schedule Appointments Online
There are three main components:
1. A booking page for customers to schedule appointments with a staff member.
2. A set of business-facing pages where business owners and managers can document customer preferences, manage staff schedules and lists, define pricing and services, set business hours and customize how staff and services are scheduled.
3. A business-facing mobile app where business owners can view the booking schedule, retrieve customer lists and contact information and make manual bookings.
Bookings also manages other aspects of appointment management, which includes sending automatic confirmation and reminder notifications, managing re-scheduling and cancellations, and updating staff calendars.
Businesses can add more staff and create additional booking pages at no extra cost as the business grows. In addition, staff are not required to have an Office 365 subscription to be a part of Bookings – only one Office 365 Business Premium account is needed.
